According to LJ FAQ there is no way to delete all posts in livejournal, You can just make them all private. Here is a script based on LJ::Simple perl module to do that. It is not clear, but it works. You can also try to use external clients for that, but not all of them support this feature and all of them available in Linux which I use as everyday system. Good Luck!
