1. Abstract.

This file may be named as mini-howto or readme or may be even install. I am not a samba-developer so I can be wrong in some places. PLease contact with me if you think I am wrong.

2. How to get.

Samba 4 now in the development stage, so you can get it using rsync or svn:

Method 1: rsync -avz samba.org::ftp/unpacked/samba4 Method 2: svn co svn://svnanon.samba.org/samba/branches/SAMBA_4_0 samba4

3. How to update.

When you using svn, you can just make in the Samba 4 source directory:

svn up
